In Patti’s early career, her company, Career Visions, Inc., was retained by several of America’s top corporations to support them and thousands of their employees through transitions including mergers, acquisitions, bankruptcy, downsizings, rightsizing, redeployment efforts, or changes in leadership.
Career Visions grew to 31 offices nationwide in three years and earned recognition as the second-fastest growing privately held company in Houston. Her strategic leadership garnered her the Small Business Person of the Year Award from the SBA, Women Business Enterprise of the Year from the Houston Woman and Minority Business Council, 100 Best Companies in Houston to Work, and three consecutive nominations for Entrepreneur of the Year.
Patti's next career change happened when she sold her business to the world's largest Global Career Services firm and had the opportunity to serve on their executive management team. From there, she was recruited by an International Management Consulting Firm and served as their Senior VP of Global Sales and Services. Patti’s training career began at the University of Houston, where she served as the Associate Director for the Center for Applied Technology. Her responsibilities included the development and delivery of technology and soft skills training to corporations throughout Texas as well as teaching and mentoring graduate students and interns in the Training and Development Department.
When Lee Hecht Harrison acquired Career Visions, Inc. and Patti was retained as the Senior Vice President/Managing Director of the Gulf Coast Region. Next, she served as Senior Vice President of Global Sales, Services and Marketing for Right Management Consultants.
She currently serves on the Board of Directors of Goodwill Central Texas and chairs the Strategic Workforce Development Committee and Austin Bridge Builders Alliance and serves on the steering committee for the Global Leadership Summit.
Patti holds a M.Ed. in Educational Counseling and Psychology and completed a three-year Executive Entrepreneurial Leadership program at the Sloan School of Business, MIT. She has completed executive/leadership coaching certification programs with The John Maxwell Group, Lee Hecht Harrison, Right Management Consultants, Career Partners International, Birkman International, Khorus, DiSC Workplace, Management Research Group, Pro Advisors Coach, Mindscan, and New Horizons - Retirement Success Profile, and Life Options Profile. She is also a dual licensed Spiritual Practitioner with Agape International Spiritual Center, Los Angeles, CA and the Center for Spiritual Living, Golden, CO.
